When we join the chanting, then magic starts to happen. Because many times our souls are too much embedded in matter, in illusion – it’s almost impossible to have a glimpse out of it. Sometimes it’s even difficult to move. But if you want to move your soul, to shake off this tight rope of illusion, you just start chanting or singing from the deepest core of your heart.

They say that it’s most easy to approach God, because He is very close. So don’t be far away from Him! When the bhajan starts to sound, either you fly there or that earth flies here. Or we can meet half-way.

When we come together in the morning – or when we cannot come together, but you are on your own – what can be done? You could do some little worship at your home, like offering some flowers, incense… Because you start your day with GIVING to God – that’s perfect. Then you sing, glorifying. You can glorify in a general way like “Om namo bhagavate vasudevaya”- this is a general prayer. Or you can say more rasic: “Jaya Radhe Shyam Jaya Radhe Shyam”. As you like. Then singing makes your soul flying. You cannot stay stuck in the illusion, your soul just simply starts to fly. And then, after this breaking the barriers of your consciousness in the morning, you just sit silently, absolutely silently, you open up all the other different things that you need to open, get rid of all the difficulties that you have to get rid of – you just open your HEART finally, totally.. That’s a very important step, don’t miss that step… And then you touch your japa… Then thunderbolts are just running around your japa-beeds. Like they show in the movies – something is happening and immediately all the electricity is running around the guy, you know… You are so much surcharged with your spiritual power, that when you touch your japa… lightenings are coming… So much power is there, so much beauty is there. That should be the quality of your morning chanting – lightnings and thunderbolts. And if you have such a powerful beginning then you will have a perfect day.
